FAQs
Why TCM?
TCM offers many benefits for your health. With its holistic approach, body, mind and emotions are considered together. Individualized therapy: each treatment is tailored to you. TCM can help effectively with acute and chronic conditions. Strengthening self-healing: your body is supported in regaining balance.
Is TCM scientifically recognized?
Yes, especially acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine are well studied. Acupuncture is included in some guidelines as a treatment option (e.g. chronic pain, cancer-related fatigue, supportive oncology care).
Is the treatment painful?
Most TCM methods are nearly painless. With correctly performed acupuncture, a so-called 'de qi' sensation can occur, such as a brief tingling, pressure or warmth/cold sensation, often lasting only seconds or minutes.
How long does a treatment take?
Before starting, a thorough medical history and Chinese diagnostics are performed. Plan at least 60 minutes for the first appointment. Further sessions (e.g. acupuncture) usually take about 30 minutes.
Who is TCM suitable for?
TCM is suitable for people of all ages – from children to seniors, from pregnant women to those with chronic conditions, and for preventive care.
